About Us
In the 1920s, Emilio Stramaglia started working as a blacksmith, and later switched to almond shelling machines: in 1932 he obtained patent No. 96131954 from the Rome Patent Office.
In the same year, together with Eng. Barbone and other fellow carpenters, he contributed to construct the triumphal chariot for the celebrations of the “Madonna di Butterrito”, which is still used today during the patronal festival in October.
After his death, his son Giuseppe continued his father's activity, achieving countless successes: he built and patented machines to shell and peel almonds, apricot kernels and pistachio nuts, taking his business not only to Europe but also to Africa and America.
In 1982 he received the title of “Cavaliere del Lavoro” awarded by President Pertini and Senator Spadolini.
Over the years, he expanded the business with machineries for the oil industry, supporting important local realities.
